Project Design Brief
Paya Lebar Quarter by developer Lendlease, a $3.2 billion mixed-use development, comprising of retail, office and residential Components is the first in Singapore to achieve a Platinum rating under the Building and Construction Authority’s (BCA) latest version of its Green Mark scheme for new non-residential buildings. It’s currently benchmarked as the highest sustainability standard for non-residential buildings in Singapore. Both the client and designers required an aesthetic quality pedestrian friendly drainage solution that at the same time would comply with emergency vehicle access requirements.

- BrickSlot KS100 with Stainless Steel slot frame Based on the site-specific catchment hydraulics, ACO’s Technical Services Department provided designers with hydraulic data to confirm the slot frames could capture the runoff, comply with emergency vehicle access and fulfill the aesthetic finish as designed by the Architect

- The 0.5% built-in slope in the KS100 system reduced additional labor work for the contractor on site to create gradient
